DESCRIPTION:Flatty October 2023 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented by the UofR Smash Club\, it’s that time of the month again\, time for Flatty on September 9th! \nFeaturing Tournaments for Smash Ultimate\, Melee\, and more! Paid doubles is back! \nAs usual\, The Queen City Fighters will be running brackets as well for various fighting games! \nEvent Schedule\n\n10:00 — Venue opens for setup and registration\n11:30 — P+ Friendlies\n12:30 — Smash Doubles\n14:30 — FGC Free Play\n15:15 — Final call for singles registration\n15:30 — Melee and Ultimate singles begin\n16:30 — Guilty Gear Strive\n18:00 — F-Zero GX (maybe)\n18:30 — Street Fighter 6\n20:00 — TBA\n22:00 — Cleanup and teardown\n\nPlease try to come 30 minutes before your first event begins\, if you will be later than that let us know. \nFor anything related to the non-smash FGC events\, see Derek or Zak. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow it Works:\nCome for the gaming events you want to participate in\, pay any costs listed below and you’re good to go! If you can bring your own controller that helps a lot\, but if you can’t make sure to message us ahead of time so we have extra reserved for you. Then when your event starts you’ll be put into a double elimination pool where if you win all your games\, you’ll go into another double elimination bracket to compete for the win\, but if you don’t\, you can still stick around for a second shot at glory in the amateur bracket with everyone else who didn’t make it out! (amateur brackets are only for the smash singles events) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOVID-19 Protocol:\nAs of now\, the university currently does not require wearing masks on campus. Using masks is now encouraged\, but no longer mandatory. Please stay home if you are not feeling well!

DESCRIPTION:Presented by the UofS CSSS and USask Smash Bros Club\, its our joint Smash Bros Tournament!\nWe are hosting a tournament October 20th in the Arts 263 room! Some important info to know is:\nPre registration is free but at the door there is $10 entry!! (If you are there to just spectate you will not need to pay)\n\nWe gain access to the room at 5:00 PM\, and have a Singles 1v1 Bracket at 5:30 PM!\nThis is also a Bring Your own Controller event!
