Presented by the UofR Smash Club, it’s time for some Pre-Arcadian Fun on June 28th at Regina North Birminghams!

Must be 19+ and provide valid ID to attend

$100 POT BONUS FOR BOTH ULTIMATE AND MELEE SINGLES

Featuring Tournaments for Smash Ultimate, Melee, and Rivals 2 Beta!

FEATURING RIVALS 2 CLOSED BETA! 16 Entrant Cap Until Further Notice

• Ultimate and Melee Singles – $5.00

• Ultimate and Melee Doubles – $5.00

• Rivals 2 Beta – Free

• Venue Fee – $5.00

If you bring a FULL setup Venue Fee is waived

Full setups meaning:

• CRT + Optional homebrewed Wii for Melee (CRTs are the most important, the Club has 3 Wiis already, but bringing your own is very welcomed)

• Nintendo Switch with Smash Ultimate and all the DLC + a monitor (You can coordinate with another attendee and each bring 1 half of a full setup, both of you will have your Venue Fee waived)

Event Schedule

• 14:00 — Venue opens for setup and registration
• 15:00 — P+ Friendlies
• 15:30 — Smash Doubles
• 17:15 — Final call for singles registration
• 17:30 — Melee and Ultimate singles begin
• 19:00 — Rivals 2
• 24:00 — Cleanup and teardown

Please try to come 30 minutes before your first event begins, if you will be later let us know

How it Works:

Come for the gaming events you want to participate in, pay any costs listed above and you’re good to go! If you can bring your own controller that helps a lot, but if you can’t make sure to message us ahead of time so we have extra reserved for you. Then when your event starts you’ll be put into a double elimination pool where if you win all your games, you’ll go into another double elimination bracket to compete for the win, but if you don’t, you can still stick around for a second shot at glory in the amateur bracket with everyone else who didn’t make it out! (amateur brackets are only for the smash singles events)
